| Popis výsledku v původním jazyce | Die Publikation, basierend auf neu aufgefundenen Materialien, bietet die erste synthetische Darstellung der Kontakte zwischen den führenden Vertretern der Tschechischen politischen und literarischen Moderne (T. G. Masaryk, J. S. Machar, F. V. Krejčí, V.Mrštík, K. Kramář, J. Kaizl u.a.) und der Wiener Wochenschrift Die Zeit, die 1894 von H. Bahr, H. Kanner und I. Singer begründet und zu einem bedeutenden Organ der zentraleuropäischen Moderne wurde. Im ersten Teil wird ein Konzept der Vermittlung vorgeschlagen; in den Studien werden die gegenseitigen Beziehungen aus politologischer, bohemistischer und germanistischer Sichtweise interpretiert. Der zweite Teil bringt Quellen: eine Auswahl der wichtigsten Artikel aus der Zeit sowie der Korrespondenzen derMitarbeiter der Wochenschrift u.a. Vervollständigt wird die Arbeit mit einer Bibliographie der Bohemica in der Zeit, Kurzbiobibliographien der Mitarbeiter, einem Verzeichnis der Dokumente, Quellen und Literatur sowie einem Register. |

This publication presents the first synthetic treatment of contacts between the leading representatives of early Czech literary and political modernism at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries (e.g. T. G. Masaryk, J. S. Machar, F. V. Krejčí, V. Mrštík,K. Kramář and J. Kaizl) and the prominent Viennese modernist review Die Zeit, founded in 1894 by H. Bahr, H. Kanner and I. Singer. The introduction sets out the concept of intermediation, the studies interpret the intercultural collaboration within itsliterary, cultural, social and political background. The second part brings documents: the most important articles from the review and chronologically arranged set of letters. These documents are followed by a bibliography of articles by authors from theCzech lands and articles with Czech subject-matter. On the basis of this bibliography a listing was compiled of contributors to Die Zeit. The final section comprises listings of edited documents, a list of sources and literature and an i |
